Hi, my name is Pete Wotton and I have been working as a video game tester for the last 18 months.
I decided to create this little site to help anyone who is looking for information about video game testing jobs.
If you are really serious about video games (i.e you are good at them and love playing them for hours at a time) then there are companies out there that will pay you for your services as a beta tester.
Depending on what you are asked to do and your level of experience, your income can range anywhere from $10 to $50 an hour or even more!
This sounds like a dream job right?
Well yes and no. Remember, there’s no such thing as a free lunch.
Breaking into the world of game testing is by no means an easy task. You’ll be working with muliti-billion dollar companies who can afford to be very selective with the people they employ.
If you don’t know what you’re doing or what information you’ll be expected to know…you will be eaten alive!
The hardest step of all is getting your very first job. Once you achieve that, future jobs will be easier to come by.
If you’re new to the world of video game testing and quite like the idea of becoming a game tester, I recommend you read some of my articles to give you a better understanding of what is entailed.

It is important you keep up to date with new findings and new job vacancies as they arise. That’s why I’ve highly recommend one site in particular that delivers the best information for you.

A lot of information about becoming a video game tester that I’ve read over time has been pretty useless and often misleading. But I have found some really cool sites that have the necessary information, help and support you need, to become a video game tester.

The guys who run this site do a great job in updating the information to keep it fresh and current. Not only do you receive timely help and support, you also get a detailed guide on the exact steps you need to take when applying for game testing jobs.
The other sites are by no means second rate. There are some pros and cons with all of them. The most valuable aspect of these sites is the ability to provide constant, update information.
As a brand new, budding video game tester, fresh job vacancies is what you REALLY need to be aware of and that’s what makes the top 2 of these sites better than the rest.
Do Your Homework
The best advice I can give you is to do some research on the subject. The very fact you’re on this site shows that you’re committed and you’re looking for more information.
The problem is you could spend hours searching online for help and information. So let me save you the time and trouble.
